Getting Started

HelperWebs is a local chore marketplace that connects neighbors who need help with teens and young adults looking to earn money. We focus on simple, safe tasks like yard work, pet care, tutoring, and light household help — all within your own community.
Anyone 15 or older can join. If you're under 18, you'll need to provide a parent or guardian's name and email during registration. We send them a quick notification so they know you're using the platform. Safety starts at home.
Yes — signing up, browsing jobs, and posting chores are completely free. We deduct a small service fee from completed transactions to keep the platform running safely.

Payments & Fees

We charge a 20% service fee on each completed job. This helps us maintain the platform, process secure payments, and provide support. For example, on a $30 job, the helper receives $24 and we keep $6.
Payments are sent through PayPal or direct link transfers once the provider marks the job as complete. Make sure your payment info is up to date in your profile. We hold the funds securely until both parties confirm the job is done.
You have a 7-day dispute window after a job is marked complete. Contact us at contact@helperwebs.com with the job ID and details. We review all disputes fairly and aim to resolve them within 48 hours.

Safety & Rules

We built HelperWebs with teen safety as the top priority. We require parental awareness for minors, show jobs only within your city, and provide a disable link to parents at all times. However, we do not supervise or background-check users — parents and helpers must use their own judgment. Read our full Safety Guidelines.
No hazardous work (power tools, chemicals, ladders), no illegal services, no adult content, and no transportation requests. Helpers under 18 should stick to outdoor, visible tasks for their first few jobs. See our Marketplace Rules for the full list.
Yes. When a minor signs up, we email the parent/guardian a link to disable the account instantly at any time. Parents can also request a disable link by emailing contact@helperwebs.com.

Your Account

Go to the login page and click "Forgot password?" We'll send a reset link to your registered email. Make sure to use a real email when signing up — you'll need it for password recovery and job notifications.
Email contact@helperwebs.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete My Account." We'll process your request within 48 hours and confirm once it's done.
