13. In-App Payment System
All payments on HelperWebs are processed by Stripe. Here is how payment information flows:
13.1 For Providers
When posting a job, you pay exactly the listed job price through Stripe's secure checkout page, no fee is added to your payment
Your card details are entered directly on Stripe's systems and are never transmitted to or stored on HelperWebs servers
The payment is held by Stripe until the job is marked complete; if the job is cancelled before completion, the hold is released and funds return to your payment method
13.2 For Helpers
To receive payouts, helpers connect a Stripe account and provide required information (such as bank or debit card details) directly to Stripe
When a job is marked complete, the listed job price minus our 10% service fee is transferred to the helper's Stripe account
HelperWebs never has access to your bank account or card numbers
13.3 What We Keep
We store only transaction metadata: payment status, amounts, job references, and Stripe transaction IDs
These records are kept for 7 years to comply with financial regulations
Our messaging system is designed to protect user privacy:

Because payments are held and tracked through Stripe, we can review an accurate payment record for every job
Refunds after completion are at the discretion of HelperWebs and may require verification
