No! Most chores on HelperWebs require no prior experience. Providers post clear descriptions like “Need help raking leaves” or “Looking for someone to walk my dog.” Just be honest about your skills when applying.

Most jobs pay between $10–$25 per hour, depending on the task. Simple jobs like picking up groceries might pay $10, while yard work could pay $20+. Payment is always arranged directly with the provider (cash, Venmo, etc.).

Yes! Helpers under 18 are welcome, but you must:

• Have a parent or guardian aware that you’re using the platform
• Follow California child labor laws (no hazardous work like roofing, chemicals, or power tools)
• Never go alone to meet someone new — use the buddy system!

Payment is handled directly between you and the provider — usually in cash or via apps like Venmo or PayPal. HelperWebs doesn’t handle money, so there are no fees or delays.

Currently, only adults (18+) can post jobs as “providers.” Teens can only apply to jobs as “helpers.” This keeps the platform safe and compliant with labor laws.
